ABOUT EARTHDANCE MYSTICAL MASTERY

Earthdance Mystical Mastery unites people from around the globe through the virtual world of Second Life for the annual Earthdance celebration and synchronized global Prayer for Peace.

This 24-hour event includes live performances and DJ/dance music throughout the day. Performers are from Portugal, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Canada, Brazil, Italy and the United States.

12pm: DJ/dance music
1pm: ChangHigh Trinity Sisters Fireshow of Light, Life & Love with live music performed by Cypress Rosewood

BENEFITING ORGANIZATION: TARIRO
Earthdance MM will be donating at 100% of all donations, and artists will donate at least 50% of all tips, to Tariro: Hope & Health for Zimbabwe's Orphans.

Tariro works to bring hope and health to HIV/AIDS orphans in Zimbabwe by educating young women. Located in the high-density neighborhood of Glen Norah in Harare, Tariro enables young women who have been orphaned by AIDS to complete a secondary school education, thereby dramatically reducing their risk of contracting HIV/AIDS.

The public school system collapse in 2008 created significant challenges for Tariro as they moved all the girls into private and boarding schools so they could continue their education. In addition, the challenges of this economic year have resulted in a decrease in contributions from individuals.

Thanks for coming out to support this wonderful organization at this critical time of need!

BTW, our wonderful "anchor artist," Cypress Rosewood (aka Tony Gerber) has confirmed. He'll perform from 3-4pm, leading up to the Global Prayer for Peace. His magical, healing music is the perfect lead-in to that culminating event.

Comment by Carolyn Oakley on April 18, 2009 at 7:35pm: Ten residents of Second Life from around the world met at Mystica Wisdom Centre for the inaugural monthly Synchronized Global Meditation and Prayer for Peace on April 18, 2009. We will make this a monthly event leading up to the Big Day of September 26.
